A Passion for Place
My connection to the natural world goes far beyond photography. I believe the places around us are worth noticing, understanding, and protecting.
From the wildlife that quietly moves through our forests to the open spaces, history, and character that make our communities unique, there is something worth preserving if we take the time to look closer.
Photography has become my way of documenting those moments and telling the story of the places I call home. My work in preservation and community activism comes from that same belief: that we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the land, the history, and the communities we leave behind.
I don't believe we have to look far to find something extraordinary. Sometimes it's a bear appearing along a hiking trail. Sometimes it's a hawk overhead, a quiet landscape, or a piece of local history that could easily be forgotten.
My goal is simple: to document it, appreciate it, and encourage others to look closer.
